  • Migrated client’s business intelligence and reporting platform from Cognos to Power BI
  • Client stakeholders can now leverage the superior capabilities of Power BI. Users now find it easy to use because of its similarity with power pivot and Excel.
  • Our implementation entailed:
    • Building on premise PBI servers & gateways
    • Building SSAS servers & schedulers to use multidimensional/tabular models, replacing Cognos cubes
    • Providing security recommendations for different levels of Power BI structures
    • Building replica of Cognos Cubes in VS & deploying them on SSAS servers
    • Integrations Power BI with a wide array of external data sources utilizing client drivers (JDE, Oracle, SQL Analysis etc.)
